Talking Head Video Editor

What we’re looking for

We want an editor who makes a speaker easier to follow without editing away their personality. Experience with talking-head videos, podcasts, educational videos and personal-brand content is especially relevant. Your portfolio should ideally demonstrate this style of work. Shape pacing and retention by removing unnecessary pauses while keeping dialogue natural. Choose useful B-roll, purposeful punch-ins and reframing, subtitles where appropriate, sound design and music. Use motion graphics, visual emphasis and simple charts or callouts where they help explain the idea. Knowing when not to over-edit is part of the job. Preserve the creator's natural speaking style and give the viewer room to understand the message. TOOLS YOU SHOULD KNOW Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve is expected; either is suitable. Adobe After Effects is strongly preferred for clean motion graphics and callouts. Adobe Photoshop is useful, but mastery of every tool is not required. HOW WE WORK Be reliable, meet deadlines, pay attention to detail and implement feedback thoughtfully. • Punjabi required
• You must speak Punjabi and be comfortable communicating in Punjabi. English and Hindi are useful additional languages.
• A publicly accessible portfolio URL, ideally featuring talking-head, podcast, educational or personal-brand edits.
• Strong pacing and retention editing, with clean dialogue cuts that remove unnecessary pauses while keeping speech natural.
• Purposeful B-roll, punch-ins and reframing, subtitles where appropriate, sound design and music selection.
• Motion graphics, visual emphasis and simple charts or callouts where needed, with restraint when extra effects would distract.
• The ability to maintain the creator's personality and natural speaking style.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro OR DaVinci Resolve. After Effects is strongly preferred; Photoshop is useful.
• Reliability, attention to detail, meeting deadlines, implementing feedback and a willingness to improve.
